Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy Football Club

KLT has supported many charities over the years and will continue to do so, however, one charity is extremely close to Robert Taylor’s heart and that is Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy Football Club (BBCPFC).

Robert Taylor’s young friend Jackson has Cerebral Palsy and this charity was set up to help all children to enjoy a sport and build friendships. Now in existence for over 3 years they have just been granted charity status. They are a Cerebral Palsy Football Club that allows children of all ages to participate in a sport that they otherwise would not be able to.

Jackson has Cerebral Palsy and was desperate to play with his friends but was unable to keep up with them. His parents looked online to try and find somewhere for him to play but found there was nothing available in or around the Hertfordshire area. With the support of friends and CP Sport they arranged a kick start event in April 2015. This was such a success that they could continue training on a weekly basis. They have gone from strength to strength and now have 30 children both framed and ambulant.

Their mission is to purchase land and build their own indoor 3G pitch, along with a hydrotherapy pool and a physiotherapy room. Cerebral Palsy effects children in many ways both physically and mentally.

They are extremely passionate and want to be able to give any child with this condition the opportunity to get involved with a sport they love, and to improve their mobility, things that we sometimes take for granted. Living with Cerebral Palsy can be hard, not only for the child but also their siblings and parents. They have created a new family and lasting friendships and want to grow to support future children with this painful and cruel condition.

They are relying on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support so that they can continue supporting this great cause. KLT Construction would be extremely grateful if you would be able to contribute and make a real difference, allowing them to continue their work.

There are several ways to do this, either Virgin Money Giving, BACS or through their website

KLT Construction would like to thank you in advance for your support and please remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to read this inspirational story.

Letters of Appreciation

Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy FC

Good Morning Chris,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your very kind donation that you sent us yesterday in memory of James.

HALO are delighted to be chosen as your charity to support, i wondered how you heard about us?

As a local charity that is run to date totally through fundraising and donation this means a huge deal to us and will surely make a difference to the work we do with bereaved children and their families.

As one of the only support networks in the area offering bereavement support it shows such need for a service within the community.

We hope you will keep in touch with our work by following the Blog on our website and HALO on social media; And if we can help anyone you know please do not hesitate to contact us.

Once again a huge thank you on behalf of everyone at Halo Children’s Foundation.

Kind Regards,
Alia Jones
